WiFi hotspots are coming to Disneyland Resort. Starting April 24 hotspot testing will begin taking place throughout the parks. No official signage will go up until after testing is complete but if park goers check their WiFi and the network is available they will be able to connect after accepting the terms and conditions.
Earlier this year Disney announced they would release Disney MaxPass which will allow guests to download unlimited high-resolution PhotoPass images. Guests will also be able to use MaxPass to book and redeem their FASTPASS through their mobile device for an introductory fee of $10. Annual Passholders will be able to purchase MaxPass on a daily or yearly basis.
There has been no announcement of when MaxPass will be released officially but two new FASTPASS locations have been released. Toy Story Mania in Disney California Adventure has already installed their FASTPASS kiosk and Matterhorn Bobsled will open theirs when the ride is finished with its refurbishment on April 28.
Guests will still be able to use the FASTPASS kiosk option as they do today.
